Designed to introduce students to the world of Big Data and Data Science, this summer program draws upon trends in digitalization, artificial intelligence and IT infrastructure that impact business and the economy. Course participants have the opportunity to experience digital transformation first hand, participating in workshops and group projects on coding to collect, process and analyze data to resolve complex problems to improve managerial processes in a variety of sectors. All activities are led by professionals in the Luiss Laboratory of Fabulous Things (LOFT). Furthermore, the Data Science Summer School allows students to prepare for the ECDL, certifying a basic knowledge of information technology.
The Data Science Summer School grants 40 School-Work Alternation Credits, subject to approval from the student’s home institution.
