|For:||First to penultimate year of high school|
|Objective:||Learn to tell stories while summarizing one's ideas and focusing only on the most important aspects, writing scripts and drawing a comic book|
Learning to create comics today means learning to stimulate one’s creativity, to tell a story, to summarize, to create storyboards and narrate through the use of images. Such a process can also improve problem-solving skills, leadership, salesmanship, social media use and client brief analysis. Today, the ability to draw, to summarize and to represent information are used in uncountable ways. From film to business conferences, from event organization to communication campaigns and even creating prototypes, the ability to visually represent ideas gives an individual an enormous advantage in the job market. The Comics Summer School, offered in partnership with BUGS Academy, teaches students to tell a story while summarizing their ideas, focusing only on the most important parts, to write a script and to draw a comic book, focusing on choosing the right image to learn to best communicate their message.
