On Tuesday, October 1, Luiss and Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB) signed a Comprehensive Strategic Partnership to collaborate on research, teaching and policy.
Included in the agreement is a proposal on dialogues between Belgium and Italy on bilateral and European economic, political and legal issues as well as cooperation between the two unversities' publishing houses.
This is the second strategic partnership signed this year, after March's agreement with Renmin University. Université Libre de Bruxelles is an important partner in Europe for its specialization in EU institutions.
These two new partnerships in Brussels and Beijing are important steps in the University's internationalization plan. Luiss currently has over 200 agreements with universities in 44 countries, with over 40 Double Degree programs.
The five-year agreement was signed by Luiss Rector Andrea Prencipe and Rector of Université Libre De Bruxelles Yvon Englert. Present at the signing were also Professor Raffaele Marchetti, the Rector's Delegate for Internationalization and Professor Judith le Maire, Vice-Rector for International Relations at ULB.
