LUISS Orientation Summer School’s goal is to guide students so that they can face their future with confidence.
LUISS Orientation Summer School is for students between 16 and 19 years old. For one week during the summer, they are immersed in the university environment and a teaching method that is very different than the one they are accustomed to at secondary school. Mornings are dedicated to academics: university lectures, case studies and group work, on topics in economics and business, law, political science and communication. Afternoons are spent on logical reasoning and verbal comprehension skills, which are fundamental skills for passing the admission test at LUISS and other public and private universities with a set number of students.
Furthermore, students can opt to participate in courses on LUISS degree program subjects or prepare for the SAT.
For a proper attendance of SAT course it’s recommended an English level comparable to B2.
At the end of the week-long course, students who have finished their second-to-last year of secondary school and have attended a week of LUISS Orientation Summer School with no more than one excused absence, can take the admission test to LUISS.
At the end of the course, students receive a certificate for the recognition of credits. In order to earn credits, students must attend the entire program.
