The Cyber Summer School focuses on threats and defense in the cyber world. The program includes lessons on the most common security mechanisms through practical exercises and visits to agencies specialized in fighting cyber crime. From Monday to Friday, students participate in lessons, group projects and workshop activities led by professionals in the Laboratory of Fabulous Things (LOFT). In addition to workshops on password cracking, data integrity and remote systems access, students are also introduced to legal, institutional and organizational aspects of cybersecurity.
The Cyber Summer School grants 40 School-Work Alternation credits, subject to approval from the student's home institution.
