On Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at 5:00 p.m., the Aula Magna of the Viale Pola campus hosts a round table on Progetto Legalità, the educational program offered in collaboration with ANAC, DNA and CSM.
The event will begin with presentations from Rector Paola Severino, General Manager Giovanni Lo Storto, followed by the awarding of scholarships from Amici della LUISS, handed out by Association President Francesco Gaetano Caltagirone.
The round table is moderated by Gianni Riotta journalist and co-director of the MACOM Master offered by the LUISS School of Government. Speakers include Minister of Education Valeria Fedeli, Vice President of the High Council of the Judiciary Giovanni Legnini, General Commander of the Carabinieri Tullio Del Sette, National Public Anti-Mafia and Anti-Terrorism Prosecutor Federico Cafiero de Raho, del President of the Natioanl Association of Judges ANM Eugenio Albamonte, Director of ANSA Luigi Contu and Rai Cinema and Rai Com Producer Gloria Giorgianni, presenting the trailer of the documentary In the Name of the Italian People.
Progetto Legalità was established to promote a culture based on rule of law in Italian primary and secondary schools, with particular attention on educational instutitions located in areas facing social and economic disadvantages.
The event welcomes directors, teachers and students from the 21 schools currently engaged in the project, working on various themes related to rule of law alongside LUISS students, including: active citizenship, fighting mafias and corruption, immigration and integration.
