LUISS students at the Asia-Pacific Model United Nations Conference 2009

Two LUISS students, Francesco Caccamo and Diana Bak, excelled at the recent Asia-Pacific Model United Nations Conference (AMUNC) 2009 hosted by the University of Queensland from 11-18 July.

  • Francesco Caccamo - 6th General Assembly Commettee (Legal) represented People's Republic of China;
  • Diana Bak - 4th General Assembly Commettee (Special Political and Decolonisation) represented Indonesia;
Francesco Caccamo was also the recipient of a special diplomacy award in recognition of his special effort throughout the week.

Call for papers - The 5th International Research Days on Marketing Communications

The 5th International Research Days on Marketing Communications will take place on March 25th and 26th, 2010 within the premises of ICN Business School in Nancy. This event is organized by ICN Business School (Nancy, France), in partnership with the Aarhus School of Business, ASB Centre for Corporate Communications (Aarhus, Denmark) and with the support of the French Marketing Association (AFM), the CEREFIGE Research Laboratory (Nancy, France), the IAE Nancy University and the Regional Council of Lorraine.

LUISS Erasmus Tutor at the International Youth Convention

Youth for Exchange and Understanding (YEU) is an International Non-Governmental Youth Organization established in 1986 and member of the European Youth Forum in Brussels as an INGYO. YEU looks forward to increase tolerance and awareness between different countries, cultures and traditions, and to promote a greater level of comprehension through the development of various youth activities.


Rector Egidi confirmed and pro-Rector nominated

The LUISS Guido Carli Board of Directors confirmed prof. Massimo Egidi as the University's Rector for academic years 2009-2012. The Rector has chosen prof. Paola Severino as pro-Rector.

Prof. Egidi is professor of Behavioral Economics at the Faculty of Economics; prof. Severino is professor of Criminal Law at the Faculty of Law and is the Director of the Second Level Master's Degree Program in Criminal Company Law.


Scholarships and Fellowship from Unicredit Group - Foundation "Cavaliere del lavoro Ugo Foscolo"

The Foundation "Cavaliere del lavoro Ugo Foscolo" in memory of  its former chairman of the Banco di Roma is opening a competition for two different competition for European scholarships and Fellowships in economic and financial subjects.

This opportunity is dedicated to graduates of the 22 countries in which the Unicredit Group operates, who have completed their Economics or Finance doctorate (Ph.D) in a university outside the EU

The European Commission is supporting the IPPA project, International Peace Promotion Action, with the aim to raise public opinion awareness on peace matters.

Research Fellowships - 2010 by Canon Foundation in Europe

The Canon Foundation in Europe offers 15 Research Fellowships to highly qualified European and Japanese researchers in all fields. Candidates should hold a PhD or at least a Master's degree. They are eligible during the ten-year period following the successful completion of their Ph.D or MA degree. The candidates must have permanent citizenship in either Europe or Japan.
