Call for Application - Scholarships for foreigner students 2009/2010

Luiss Guido Carli is a private Italian university situated in Rome, Italy, and was founded over forty years ago. It offers a variety of courses taught in English and Italian in the fields of economics, law and political sciences.

For the next academic year 2009/2010 Luiss will be offering 6 scholarships of € 15,000 for foreigner students.

The scholarships are meant to enable participation in the Master of Science courses that will start in September 2009 and will last for two years.


Call for Visiting Professors Spring 2010

LUISS Guido Carli has established a structured program for inviting visiting professors to spend one or two semesters on campus. Visiting professorships can sometimes be arranged also for shorter periods (the minimum period is one month), and are assigned among interested candidates through a competitive selection procedure.

Education Fair in Russia, 12th -14th February

 Also this year, LUISS will participate in the largest international education exhibition in Russia. The 15th International Education Fair will take place on 12 February, 2009 in Yekaterinburg and on 14 February, 2009 in Saint Petersburg.

This event  is organised by the Interuniversity Centre for International Educational Programmes (ICIEP) in cooperation with StudyAbroad.ru Marketing Agency.


Master in e-Business Management and Consulting, 2nd edition: Call for Applications 2009/2010

LUISS Guido Carli is launching the 2nd edition of the Master in e-Business Management and Consulting (MEB, former Master in Management Consulting and ERP), 2009/2010 academic year.


Master of Science in Economics, 2nd edition: Application deadline in May

LUISS Guido Carli is launching the 2nd edition of the Master of Science in Economics (MOSEC), 2009/2010 academic year. MOSEC, which is entirely held in English, provides a rigorous training in economics, with focus on financial economics and finance.

The Master lasts one year, from September 2009 to June 2010. Application deadline is 10 May 2009.

South American Business Forum (SABF) 5th edition

 The aim of the South American Business Forum is  to generate a debate and an exchange of ideas on several South American issues, among students coming from all over the world.

"Shadow G8" 2009 edition

Given the occasion of the next official G8 meeting, which will be held in Italy in May 2009 under the presidency of the Italian Government,  Luiss University and  Initiative for Policy Dialogue (IPD) organises and sponsors the "Shadow G8" 2009 edition.

The meeting brings together the academics and policymakers from around the world in order to review the work of the official G8, to highlight issues that have been left off the table, and to make recommendations for alternative approaches to some of the topics at hand.
