Welcome to Prof. Jacob Hornik

Mr. Hornik is the Head of the Marketing Department and Professor of Marketing and Advertising at the Leon Recanati Graduate School of Business, Tel Aviv. He is an active consultant to various companies and advertising agencies and a member of the Board of Directors at various industries.Here in Luiss, Professor Hornik will teach "Management Area" for PhD students of the Luiss Business School.

Welcome to Prof. Christian Ostermann

We are glad to welcome Professor Christian Ostermann to Luiss Guido Carli.Mr. Ostermann is director of the Cold War International History Project - CWIHP, at the Woodrow Wilson International Center for scholars, Washington.

He is expert on Cold War History, Contemporary Germany,  the uses of history for public policy and  transparency issues.


Welcome to Prof. Skander Esseghier

Welcome Prof. Skander Esseghaier to Luiss Guido Carli. Mr. Esseghaier is Associate Professor of Marketing at the College of Administrative Science and Economics of  Koc University- Istanbul, Turkey. The 6th GARNET PhD seminar

Since 2005, GARNET PhD school offers one week intensive Ph.D. seminar, based on active student participation and academic excellence, focusing on theoretical issues and research methodologies.

Welcome to Prof. Richard L. Priem

We are pleased to welcome Prof. Richard L.Priem to Luiss Guido Carli. He is Professor at University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee and teaches Organization Theory, and Business and Society. Here in Luiss he will teach Strategic Management, for General Management courses. His research emphasizes on strategy making processes, top manager judgments, and cross-cultural differences in managerial decision-making.


Welcome to Prof. Carl Levy

We are very glad to welcome Prof. Carl Levy to Luiss Guido Carli. Carl Levy is professor at the Goldsmiths College University of London and from April 1, 2008 on he will teach "Theory and history of political parties" at  the Faculty of Political Sciences. Moreover, he will join the Department of Political Sciences holding the seminars for the PhD students.

Round table: "BrainDrain or Brain Gain?"- Italy and United States of America in comparison

In occasion of 60th anniversary of Fulbright's programme for cultural exchange between Italy and the United States, the Centro Studi Americani, in cooperation with U.S.-Italy Fulbright Commission  is organising the round table "Brain Drain or Brain Gain?"- Italy and Unites States of America in comparison.The event will focus on the social consequences of the new phenomenon of "brain drain" and will take place on 16th April 2008 at 5 p.m at Centro

Summer School in Wroclaw, Poland

If you are interested in "Emerging Markets in the European Union", you might consider to apply for the Summer School in Wroclaw, Poland. The Summer School which will take place from 2- 26 July 2008, (two weeks studying and one week travelling around Central Europe), is organised by the Wroclaw University of Economics, one of the top 5 economics Universities in Poland.

University of Montpellier - France

Professor Paul-Henri Antonmattei, Dean of Law Faculty of University of Montpellier visited Luiss on April 17th 2008. He took part in a meeting with Prof. Roberto Pessi (Dean, Faculty of Law), Prof. Attilio Zimatore (Head of Department of Juridical studies), Mrs. Mariasilvia Ciola (Head of International Affairs) and Mrs Isabel Violante, Attaché for University Cooperation at the Embassy of France in Rome.

MGIMO - Russia

Luiss University has recently welcomed a delegation of the Russian University MGIMO (Moscow State University for International Relations). The delegation, headed by its Vice-Rector, Prof. Natalia Kyzmina, met with our Rector as well as with the Deans of the Faculties of Economics and Political Sciences.
