Research Fellowships offered by Canon Foundation in Europe

 

The Canon Foundation in Europe offers15 Research Fellowships to highly qualified European and Japanese researchers in all fields.Candidates should hold a PhD or at least a Master's degree. They are eligible during the ten-year period following the successful completion of their Ph.D or MA degree. The candidates have to be permanent citizenship in either Europe or Japan.

Diplomacy Award goes to LUISS Delegation

 Also this year, students from Luiss Guido Carli have successfully participated in the World Model United Nations (WorldMUN), which was organized by Harvard University and took place in Mexico.

We are very proud to announce that the Luiss delegation that represented the "People's Republic of China" has won the Diplomacy Award as the best delegation in the Human Rights Council.


Italy after the vote of 13th and 14th April 2008

Luiss Guido Carli, in cooperation with the Center for international Studies and Researches of Sciences Po, is organising a debate on "Italy after the vote of 13th and 14th April 2008″ (L'Italie aux lendemains du vote des 13 et 14 avril 2008). The seminar, which will take place on 16 April 2008 at the premises of Science Po in Paris, will be held in the French language and includes the participation of Luiss' rector Prof.


Seminar “Organisation and Technology: New Competences for Business Innovation”

The Luiss Faculty of Economics and  the Research Centre for Information Systems will hold a joint seminar  on "Organisation and Technology: New Competences for Business Innovation"  (Organizzazione e Technologie: Nuove competenze per l'innovazione d'azienda) on Friday 4th April, 2008.The seminar will be held in the Italian language and the new Master in Management, Consulting and ERP will also be presented.

David Constant Funds Fellowship

 

 The David Constant Funds will provide every year for a foreign researcher a research fellowship of 10.000 euros at the Faculty of Law or School of Criminology, Liege University. See the call (French version) and the application form (French version).Deadline for submitting application is 2nd May 2008.


Scholarships for postgraduate studies in Greece

The State Scholarships Foundation (Ι.Κ.Υ.) announces that it will offer up to forty (40) scholarships to nationals (foreigners or of Greek origin) of the European Union Member States, Iceland, Norway, Switzerland, U.S.A., Canada, Australia, New Zealand and Japan for studies in Greece beginning in the academic year 2008-2009 (programme.doc).

We are pleased to welcome Prof. Jean Paul Fitoussi to Luiss Guido Carli. Jean-Paul Fitoussi is Professor of Economics at the Institut d'Etudes Politiques de Paris.

2008 Guido Carli lecture in Law and Economics

Seminar on Pakistan

A seminar series on main issues regarding Asia, carried out by the Directorate General for the countries of Asia, Oceania, the Pacific and Antarctica of the Italian Minister for Foreign Affairs, is kicking off shortly.

Salao do Estudante, Brazil

This weekend starts the Luiss' roadshow in Brazil! We are taking part in the Salao do Estudante which is one of the major education fairs in Brazil. The fair is taking place in Sao Paulo (1-2 March), Salvador (5 March), Rio de Janeiro (7 March), Porto Alegre (9 March) and Florianopolis (11 March). As many Brazilians are of Italian origin, we will try not only to promote our programmes taught in English but also the courses taught in Italian.
