LUISS Guido Carli University

On November 20th 2007, a meeting took place between Luiss and SAGIA (Saudi Arabian General Investment Authority), a Saudi public institution which is willing to invest in the creation of a network between Saudi Universities and Luiss.

The meeting was attended by the Rector, Prof. Massimo Egidi, Prof. Alberto Petrucci, Prof. Giovanni Orsina, Prof.

 

 Also this year Luiss will take part in the promotional tour in India under the umbrella of the project "Invest your talent in Italy", which was founded and promoted by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. In 2007, Luiss staff will be present in six Indian cities (New Delhi, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Chennai and Kolkata) in the frame of the World Grad School Tour, a renowned education fair.

The Programme SAUVE' Scholars (founded in 2002 and supported by Jeanne Sauvé Foundation) provides scholarships to those students who want to spend a period of study in Canada. The deadline for application is 31st December 2007.

On 26th November, Mads Andenas - Professor at the Institute of Advanced Legal Studies, University of London - will arrive at Luiss to hold seminars within the course of Financial Market and Intermediaries Law.

On 3rd December, Daniel D. Prentice - Professor of Company Law at the University of Oxford - will arrive at Luiss to hold seminars on UK Company Law.
