School for the Legal Profession

The School’s training objective is to develop in students the body of attitudes and abilities that characterise the professions of magistrates, lawyers and solicitors, also with regard to the growing international integration of legislation and legal systems and to the more modern techniques of researching sources.

Law graduates in Italy are accepted by the school, as are people with the same academic qualification obtained abroad, which is recognised beforehand as being equivalent by the academic authorities. The number of graduates accepted is decided annually by decree.

The School lasts for two consecutive academic years without the possibility to shorten it. Attendance is obligatory. Those accepted onto the second year must choose one of two lines of study: legal professions and judiciary or notarial.
