Welcome to the web site of the LUISS Guido Carli Law School. This is just a different way to keep in contact with us. You’ll find all information you need, about our courses, teachers and services. But our chief goal is to show you how we shape the Luiss Guido Carli Law School world, which is not only our duty, is just our mission.

Universities should be a unity of people and ideas, attempting to imagine the world beyond eyeshot, intending to find out the scent of the future world. So we understand our life at the LUISS Guido Carli Law School and we would like to share our feelings with you.

Solicitation of Interest Call: April 2009

LUISS Guido Carli University is considering broadening its teaching and research activities in the following areas:

  • Administrative Law  - Lecturer in Sports Law for fixed-term Assistant Professor positions (Italian disciplinary sector code IUS/10)
  • Criminal Law for fixed-term Assistant Professor positions (Italian disciplinary sector code IUS/17)
  • Comparative Private Law for fixed-term Assistant Professor positions (Italian disciplinary sector code IUS/02
  • Italian Constitutional Law  for Full Professor positions (Italian disciplinary sector code IUS/08)
  • Institutions of Roman Law for Full Professor positions (Italian disciplinary sector code IUS/18)

We have not launched formal openings yet, but expect to create new positions in the near future if there is sufficient interest.
The Search Committee for the Faculty of Law has been appointed by the Rector of  the University to carry out a preliminary survey of potential candidates.

Interested persons are invited to express their interest on-line.
The deadline for submissions of interest is the 3rd of June 2009.

Submissions will be treated confidentially upon request.

It should be noted that:

  • The Search Committee will not evaluate or select candidates but is limited to carrying out the preliminary survey to determine if the areas could be covered adequately.
  • The collection of expressions of interest by the Search Committee will not limit the Faculty’s future evaluation or choice in any way.
