Double Degree in Supply Chain Management with Tilburg

The Double Degree LUISS - Tilburg is a challenging two-year program taught entirely in English, aimed at students currently enrolled in the final year of their bachelor’s program or graduates who intend to enroll in the LUISS master’s program in Management.

Students who complete the program will earn a master’s degree in Management issued by LUISS University and a Master of Science in Supply Chain Management issued by Tilburg University.

For all non-LUISS students interested in applying to Double Degree programs open to recent graduates or students enrolled in the final year of a bachelor’s degree program:  in order to access the selection procedure, candidates are required to have secured access to the relevant LUISS master’s degree program through the March 23 admission test, by submitting a GMAT/GRE certificate or following the international student admission procedure.

The LUISS - Tilburg Double Degree allows 4 Management students to enhance their studies in Supply Chain Management and obtain an MSc from the Tilburg School of Economics and Management (TiSEM), in addition to the LUISS master’s degree in Management. 

Logistics and supply chain management requires very specific skills much in demand by multinationals operating in various markets and territories. In addition to the essential international management skills gained during the first year of their master’s program at LUISS, the selected students will have the opportunity to analyze in-depth issues related to production, purchasing and distribution management in businesses operating in the manufacturing and services sectors.

The program offers a new specialization to Management students thanks to the agreement with the University of Tilburg, one of the leading universities in the business and economics field. Tilburg currently ranks 11th in the world and 3rd in Europe, according to the Times Higher Education.

The program is structured as follows:

 

  • the first year (2018-19) is carried out at LUISS;
  • the second year (2019-20) is carried out at Tilburg University. 

After completing the program, students receive two diplomas: 

  • Master’s Degree in Management issued by LUISS University;
  • MSc in Supply Chain Management issued by Tilburg University. 

LUISS students will be registered at LUISS during their time at Tilburg and will continue to pay tuition fees at LUISS. Students will be exempted from paying tuition fees at Tilburg. 

If compliant with both universities’ rules and conditions, as for credits envisaged, attendance, deadlines, academic integrity, etc., participating students will receive two degrees, which will be issued according to each university’s procedures. 

Every year 4 students will take part in the program.

image-7 Mar 2017 - 3:11pmThe selection for this program is open to students enrolled in the final year of their Bachelor’s Degree program (or recent graduates) who intend to register for the Master’s program in Management in 2018-2019. In case of doubts about the documents to upload or to get further information about the requested documents, students are invited to contact the International Development Office before the application deadline.

Students who are selected for a Double Degree program have to respect the relevant study plan. They need to accept all the changes listed in the study plan, especially with reference to the languages and other activities.
