Expression of Interest for a Position of Associate or Full Professor in Criminal Procedure
The Department of Law of LUISS University invites outstanding candidates to express their interests for a tenured Associate or Full Professorship in the area of Criminal Procedure.
Candidates will hold an established teaching experience and an appropriate record of publications, also in highly ranked international journals. Candidates will also have either a tenured position status in a University or have recently obtained the appropriate national qualification (ASN) of the Italian University System. Candidates will have an active research program in the aforementioned fields, and the potential to publish in prominent Law journals.
Successful candidates are expected to undertake rigorous and relevant research in their field of interest; publish in international, high-quality publication outlets; provide academic leadership in research activities. They are also expected to contribute to the collegial and intellectual life of the University and the community at large. Research funding is available. Candidates are expected to teach 2 courses either at undergraduate or graduate levels (in English or in Italian or both) and to supervise master dissertations and bachelor papers in their fields. Teaching assistants are also available. The salary is competitive.
About the Department
The Department of Law offers a 5-year teaching program. The Department ranks high in the Italian Law departments list. Primary areas of faculty research include: enterprise and markets, European regulation, arbitration, torts, food, consumer rights.
