The Department of Economics and Finance of LUISS University invites young and promising scholars to express their interests for 1 full-time Assistant Professorship in Applied Microeconomics.
Successful candidates will show a passionate drive to become leading scholars in their field.
The Assistant Professor will have a PhD (or be close to completing one) from a leading school, an active research program in Applied Microeconomics, with a focus on Public Economics, Political Economy, Taxation, Labor, Procurement and the Economics of regulated sectors, and the potential to publish in top journals. She/he will have some teaching experience.
Funding for conferences attendance is available. Teaching could be either in English, Italian or both. Teaching load is 2 courses per year either in an undergraduate or a post-graduate program. Candidates will supervise master dissertations and bachelor papers in their fields. Teaching assistants are also available. Appointments are full-time and the salary is competitive. The contract is 3 years, renewable in case of positive evaluation by the Department.
