The first presentation of the conference "Performance, modelli istituzionali e organizzativi e fabbisogni di nuove competenze in sanità" will be in English by professor Stephen S. Mick (Virginia Commonwealth University). Prof. Mick will present the current state of affairs in the United States on public information of performance evaluation in healthcare, what the reactions are to it from various constituencies, what the impact seems to be, and what place this sort of information might have in Obama's health reform approach.
