Welcome
The Department of Legal Science is a legal structure that promotes, supports and coordinates scientific research conducted by professors of LUISS in the legal field.
It collects all the teachers who teach subjects roles in the legal LUISS and therefore it includes not only all professors of the Faculty of Law, but also all the legal framework in the Faculty of Economics and Political Science. This ‘cross’ of the Department constitutes a privilege and a strong point: it enriches the scientific and cultural physiognomy, stimulating attention to border issues between law, economics and social sciences.
The Department is a center of study particularly rich and multifaceted, in which lawyers of high-profile science, with different skills and backgrounds, cohabit; modern scholars, attentive to the evolution of the normative system and opened to international comparison, joined by the rigor of the method (that does not mean identity of the method) and a great sensibility to the problems of the economy and society.
