Welcome to our website from the Chair of the Department of Economics and Business at LUISS «Guido Carli». Our Department is the heart of Luiss «Guido Carli» University for research, teaching, and training in economics and business. Our research centres are tightly connected and work actively in collaboration with national and international organisations in industry and in the financial system.

Our Department and its centres are actively involved in international research networks and host frequent seminars, workshops and conferences with main researchers, entrepreneurs, civil servants and managers. Within our Department the needs and interests of Academia, firms and Institutions meet together, in a dynamic, interdisciplinary and high profile research environment.

Leeflang, Wierenga Win EMAC Award

Leeflang and Wierenga have received the Inaugural EMAC (European Marketing Academy)Distinguished Marketing Scholar Award.

Peter Leeflang of the University of Groningen and Berend Wierenga of Erasmus University in Rotterdam are the co-recipients of the Inaugural EMAC Distinguished Marketing Scholar Award. This annual award will be awarded for the first time at the EMAC Annual Conference in Copenhagen, June 2-4, 2010. The award is the highest honor that a marketing educator who has had extensive connections with EMAC can receive.


Call for Visiting Professors Spring 2011

LUISS Guido Carli has established a structured program for inviting visiting professors to spend a short period on campus. Visiting professorships can sometimes be arranged also for longer periods (the minimum period is one month), and are assigned among interested candidates through a competitive selection procedure.
