Student-employer meetings

Career Fairs

LUISS Career Fairs (Career Day Young people and Work, Career Day for Legal, Career Day for International Organizations, European job and Career Day: LUISS Brussels days) are opportunities for students and graduates to make their first moves in the job market, and for employers to find new resources.

Recruiting Days

Throughout the year, the Career Services Office offers employers the change to hold on-campus presentations on their organizations and modus operandi. Presentations can then be followed by recruiting sessions on campus, or at company headquarters.  Employers may also simply collect student and graduate résumés.

Given the nature of the event, recruiting days take place while courses are in session, from September-November, and February-April.

Business and Legal Games

Through practical cases from either the business or legal world, interested students can show employers their problem-solving skills. Games can take place over a day or even an entire semester according to the employer’s needs. The University will offer spaces to host the games as well as the opportunity to organize assessment sessions for winning teams or individuals.

Please note that the University must be notified in advance  if an employer wishes to host a semester-long game in order to guarantee proper organization.  Subject to instructor approval, games can also take place during courses.

Company Visits

This program aims to introduce a limited number of talented students to the history, organization and modus operandi companies, law  firms, organizations and government institutions.  Company visits are also opportunities for students to step outside their classrooms and learn about potential job or internship opportunities as well as recruiting processes

Testimonies

During the academic year, students have the chance to participate in professional orientation and business case analysis sessions organized by employers.

In collaboration with LUISS faculty, employers define case histories to include in students’ coursework. Through the Career Services Office, employers also share professional development experiences, career paths and lectures on specific subject matters.

Speed Interviews

A speed interview is an innovative selection process during which candidates have only five minutes to introduce themselves to potential employers. Interviewers then give candidates feedback after three minutes. To succeed, candidates need to be succinct, clear and effective.
