Professional Counseling is a service that helps students understand the job market, increase their potential, design an action plan that is coherent with their career goals and highlight their current and developing talents and knowledge.
A counselor’s role is to help students and graduates capitalize their personal resources through a skill-evaluation process and assist them in choosing courses and programs to reach their professional goals.
Who it's for
Individual appointments are available for all students registered for bachelor’s, master’s and single-cycle master’s degree programs. Students can make appointments by sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Why try it
Professional Counseling is designed for those with unclear ideas regarding professional prospects. It is particularly useful to those who:
- would like to verify their knowledge or skills in order to plan an appropriate professional project during or at the end of their studies
- have completed an internship and would like to know what skills they developed in order to choose a future professional direction
- are currently working but would like to change role or field
What it's not
Professional Counseling sessions are not an orientation service for new students or psychological assistance. Each appointment has a time limit, and should reach specific goals. The office is not intended to provide information on programs of study or academic matters.
