The American Embassy in Rome is evaluating candidates for internship positions available in the Winter Session, running from November 6th, 2017 to April 27, 2018. Dates are fixed, please refrain from applying if you are not available throughout the entire period.
The positions will be within the following offices: Housing, Shipping, Acquisitions, Supply, Human Resources, Customer Service Center, Federal Benefits Unit, Visa Section, Political Office, Regional Security Office, Health Unit, Protocol, and the Financial Management Office.
The ideal candidate must:
- Be enrolled in the I, II year of a bachelor's program or;
- Be enrolled in the I year of a master's program or;
- Be enrolled in the I, II, III, IV year of a Law program;
- Have an academic average higher than 27;
- Have a very good level of English and Italian - both spoken and written
- Good IT skills;
Be available to intern on a part-time schedule (approximately 20 hours per week - Monday to Friday) from November 6th, 2017 to April 27, 2018.
The Office of Human Resources will receive applications only from LUISS Career Services and will then contact qualified candidates in order to provide details on the various internship opportunities and to answer any questions they might have.
Each selected intern will need to obtain a security certification from the Regional Security Office in order to start.
