Second-level master's degree
Organized jointly by the School of Government, by the Vittorio Bachelet Center for Research on Public Administration at LUISS Guido Carli, by the School of Administration of Internal Affairs (SSAI), and by the National Register of Municipal and Provincial Secretaries – Department for Internal and Regional Affairs – at the Ministry of the Interior, this master's program provides advanced and up-to-date training for those who want to follow or consolidate a career path in local government and systems.
The goal of the program is to help those already working in public administration and public entities acquire the ability to develop relationships with other public and private entities operating regionally, through the sharing of relational skills, the study of material of common interest and experimentation with governance tools geared towards coordination and collaboration. In addition, it provides those preparing for roles of responsibility in regional structures with the opportunity to pair theoretical learning with the acquisition of operational skills, through the sharing of experiences with those who have already carried out qualified functions in regional public or private structures.
The master has an innovative educational structure based on residential weekly modules, during which participants will stay at the headquarters of the School of Administration of Internal Affairs (SSAI). Its residential nature, moreover, facilitates the possibility of reconciling the course of study with professional obligations, as well as active networking between professors and participants.
The master is offered in conjunction with the G. Taliercio Fondirigenti Foundation.
